Tobias Türk is a sound designer, audio post-production specialist and sound engineer based in Salzburg and Vöcklabruck, Austria. He works across film, games, animation, exhibitions, theatre and multimedia productions, creating immersive audio experiences that strengthen storytelling, atmosphere and emotional impact.

Originally from Vöcklabruck, Tobias holds both a Bachelor's degree (2022) and a Master's degree (2025) in Multimedia Art with a specialization in Audio from FH Salzburg. Throughout his studies and professional work, he developed expertise in sound design, Foley, dialogue editing, audio post-production, location sound recording, mixing and interactive audio implementation. His background in electronic music production and years of experience as a DJ continue to influence his creative approach, particularly in musical sound design, sonic storytelling and the development of distinctive audio identities.

In film and audiovisual media, Tobias works across the entire audio post-production pipeline. His services include sound design, Foley recording and editing, dialogue editing, ambience creation, field recording, surround mixing and final delivery. Working primarily in Pro Tools, he creates detailed soundscapes that support narrative structure while enhancing realism, emotion and immersion. His work spans short films, commercials, experimental films, animation projects and multimedia installations.

Selected film credits include Hecate, an award-winning short film that received 3rd Place at the Salzburger Simon S. Filmnachwuchspreis 2025, Best Horror/Mystery at the Austrian Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Barcelona Indie Creators Film Festival (BARCIFF). He has also contributed to numerous independent productions, providing sound design, audio editing, Foley and final mixing services.

Alongside film work, Tobias is active in the field of game audio and interactive sound design. He develops adaptive and interactive audio systems using Wwise and FMOD and integrates audio into real-time environments and gameplay systems. His work focuses on creating responsive soundscapes, dynamic music systems and immersive player experiences that react to gameplay events and player actions. He is currently working as a freelance sound designer and game audio specialist on a strategy game project using FMOD and Unreal Engine, designing and implementing interactive audio systems for gameplay, environments and user feedback.

Beyond screen-based media, Tobias works as an audio engineer in theatre productions, where he operates and mixes live performances in immersive 7.1.4 audio environments. His theatre work includes both live mixing and sound design for stage productions, combining technical precision with creative storytelling in real-time performance settings.
