For our FH Salzburg Master’s degree project Project SONUS, I took the role in sound design and music production, working alongside Daniel Wetzelhütter who was mainly working on Audio-Programming and Implementation, also supported by additional students for selected music and foley tasks. Over several months, I created, mixed, and implemented a wide range of audio assets using Logic, Ableton and WWISE, while also collaborating closely with the rest of the six-person team through GitHub.
In this atmospheric game, players explore a surreal post-human world, capturing sound anomalies—sonic manifestations of repressed emotions and media echoes. I designed all core sound elements, from immersive weapon sounds to hostile anomaly textures, aiming to make the audio a driving force in both gameplay and narrative.
Although our full ambience map didn’t make it into the final build, the game still reflects months of intense creative iteration, technical problem-solving, and teamwork across disciplines.
